This game was released in 1993 and by the same people who brought us Command & Conquer 2 years later.
So in this game you take control of 1 of 3 families and fight for control of the planet Arrakis in a short campaign. Each house has some unique units and powers. It's very much like command and conquer.
If you liked Command & Conquer it could be worth checking out. They had a version for the PC as well.
I had this game as a kid! It didn't have the manual, think my mom got it at a yard sale or something. My 8 year old mind was not quite up to really figuring out what the hell was going on in it, but it did get me to read the Dune series a few years later!
C&C was awesome. If this is like it, it has to be good.

ReplyDeleteYes the books are a very good read! In fact the games and the movies pale in comparison but I think they are good in their own way.
